Ready for the Films?!

The festival program is set! This year we will have 15 short films to show with a even mix in the experimental, documentary, short narrative and long narrative categories. Come out March 31st to enjoy the entertainment.

Deadline Extension

Good news for those that were struggling to make the submission deadline, the deadline has been extended to 2pm Sunday March 27.

The Mission Statement

This year will be the fifth Lethbridge Film Festival a juried short film festival. Prizes will be awarded to three categories Narrative Under 5 minutes, Narrative Over 5 minutes and Experimental/Documentary films. There will also be an audience choice award given out. Submissions are still being accepted.

WHERE: The Zoo Bar and Grill on the University of Lethbridge campus

TICKETS/INFO: Admission, $5. Tickets are available Mondays 11-2 at the University of Lethbridge Atrium and at the door. For more information, contact lethbridge.filmfest@uleth.ca

Food and Drink will be available for purchase, so come along, watch some great independent films, and have fun.

Call for Submission

5th ANNUAL UNIVERSITY OF LETHBRIDGE FILM FESTIVAL

The University of Lethbridge Film Festival is seeking filmmakers who want to display their films at the Festival being held on MARCH 31st 2011.

The event will take place at the Zoo Bar and Grill on the University of Lethbridge Campus.

Films will be judged by a jury of local filmmakers and film scholars. There will be 3 categories:

Narrative (5 minute maximum)

Narrative II (20 minute maximum)

Experimental & Documentary (20 minute maximum)

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category. Furthermore, aPeople’s Choice Award will allow Attendees to vote for their favorite film of the night.

It is free to submit.

Submission deadline: Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

If interested in submitting, please do the following:

Email Lethbridge.Filmfest@uleth.ca with request for submission form. You will be promptly emailed said form.

We will accept .MOV or .AVI files of any film. Submissions in the City of Lethbridge can be retrieved by a Film Fest Coordinator.

Submissions from other areas will require a .MOV or .AVI file on a Data or Authored DVD, MAILED TO:
